Why should I know my DNA profile?
There are a lot of reasons you may want to know your DNA profile, ranging from just being curious, to wanting it for security purposes. If you travel abroad frequently for business or leisure, having your DNA profile is an important security measure for your family should you go missing or need to verify your identity. BRT Laboratories, Inc. offers a personal DNA testing service that can be completed from your home. A simple cheek swab is used to painlessly collect DNA in the privacy of your home. Your DNA profile can be used for identity purposes only. It does not convey any health or disease information. However, included with the personal DNA test is an additional DNA collection kit that you can store at your home and can be used in the future by you or your family for additional genetic testing.
