Shipping Requirements

Pre-transplant (Recipient & Donor): 5 - 10 ml venous blood in EDTA (purple top) vacuum tube OR peripheral blood on FTA card (available from BRT).

Post-transplant 5 - 10 ml venous blood in EDTA (purple top) tube* OR bone marrow on FTA card (available from BRT). *Minimum of 1 ml

T-cell Subset Testing 5 - 10 ml venous blood in EDTA (purple top) tube.

Sample Handling

All blood or marrow samples should be refrigerated immediately after draw and shipped as soon as possible (within 24 hours), or deposited onto FTA cards ¹ (and shipped at room temp), to insure that the cell population ratios can be accurately determined.

Samples are received Monday - Thursday, only.
