Methodology used by BRT Laboratories, Inc.

BRT Laboratories, Inc. uses a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) of short tandem repeat (STR) loci for the chimerism analysis of test samples. Initially, 8 STR loci are tested. An additional 10 loci are available for this analysis, if necessary - virtually ensuring the utility of this test battery for all donor/recipient pairs (except identical twins).
